Life at 9,000ft - deserted, unwelcoming and freezing. This shot came to be thanks to a Helicopter ride from the base of Mt Aspiring park, which whisked me up to this peak in a couple of minutes. The temperature was -10c here, compared to a more bearable 15c on the ground.
